Did you know?

Each year CASA advocates on behalf, almost equally, of boys and girls. However approximately 90 percent of CASA advocates in Weld County are women and 10 percent are men. While men and women are equally as capable of being great volunteer advocates, many of the young boys with a CASA are in need of a positive male role model in their lives, and as such, CASA is looking for a few (well, many) good men to become advocates over the next year.

CASA volunteers, male and female, provide a tremendous service to the children of Weld County. They help paint a clearer picture for a judge presiding over an abuse or neglect case of what is best for the child at hand. If you are interested in learning more about either opportunity, please contact cheryl@lifestoriesweld.org.  Visit our CASA page for more information as well.
