Davin Hitchcock is a senior at University High School. In early 2017, he hosted a benefit for Life Stories as part of his senior project. His project focused on helping abused children. The way he set up the benefit was as an ongoing collection of items needed by Life Stories. Davin made posters & flyers (including a list of items needed) and hung them around his school. During school lunch periods, he set up a table to collect donations over the course of two weeks. He also put boxes in the school’s office as another collection location. By the end of his benefit, he collected donations of new stuffed animals, copy paper, Target/Walmart gift cards, board games, chapter books, individual snacks, and juice boxes.
