Meet Cheryl: as an employee of Life Stories, she is always looking for creative ways to support the organization. In 2016, she decided to raise funds by doing a charity climb to the top of Mount Elbert. Since she had summited 2 fourteeners, 15 years earlier, she knew it would take immense strength, like that of a Superhero. She decided to tie her climb into the agency’s Superhero Run. In the weeks leading up to the climb, she asked friends and family to support her goal of summiting Mt. Elbert by making a donation to Life Stories. In total, she raised $500 and in September 2016, she and Kodie, a fellow Life Stories staff member, made it to the top of Mt. Elbert!
