In April, Child Abuse Prevention Month is the time to highlight the importance of individuals and communities working together to prevent child abuse. Child abuse can’t be ignored- everyone must work together to raise awareness. Life Stories houses the Child Advocacy Center, CASA Program and Darkness to Light Workshops throughout all of Weld County. In FY 21/22, our programs served over 1000 child victims and their non-offending family members. Life Stories will hold and participate in a number of events in April to promote Child Abuse Prevention and their program.
