Fundraising Author Events with Life Stories Child Advocacy Center
Colorado Author, Hope Flansburg, in collaboration with Life Stories Child Advocacy Center, will be holding two fundraising author events. Please join them on Saturday, February 15th from 11am-1pm at Carbon Valley Regional Library in Firestone, and again on February 26th for happy hour and food from 5-7pm at Santeramo’s.
Flansburg’s novel, Piece by Piece, launched internationally October 6th 2019. It hit #1 in its category in New Releases on Amazon the first week. It was published by Author Academy Elite (AAE), a writing, publishing, and marketing experience for authors. AAE was founded by Kary Oberbrunner and David Branderhorst as a solution to the extremes of Traditional and Self-Publishing.
In her fiction romance novels, Hope uses authentic characters and complex yet relatable topics to reach the heart of the reader. Life Stories Child Advocacy Center provides a child-focused environment to gently support child victims of sexual and physical abuse and their non-offending family members in Weld County. The Center encourages a coordinated response to the investigation, prosecution, and treatment of child abuse.
At these events they will discuss the messages in the book and the importance of the work Child Advocacy Centers bring to the community. On the Saturday the 15th, presentations will begin at 11:30. On Wednesday the 26th, they will begin at 5:30. A book signing will take place the last half hour with 20% of the proceeds being donated to Life Stories Child Advocacy Center.
