Life Stories Child Needs and Activity Fund provides some resources to the children we serve through the Child Advocacy Centers and CASA program. We try to be able to provide the following:
- Gift / gas cards for travel costs for CASA volunteers to visit children who live a long distance and children and families served at the Child Advocacy Centers who experience a hardship to travel to services.
- Gift cards and funds to help offset some of the costs of activities that CASA volunteers do with their CASA children, facilitating relationship building.
- Gift cards and funds to purchase necessities for children in either program such as emergency clothing, sport equipment, special fees for sports and/or other programs.
This resource is currently funded through community donations, grants through the Weld Women’s Fund and United Way Youth Allocations as well as proceeds from the King Soopers Community Rewards program.
If you are a business or individual who would like to donate to this program, we are looking for gift cards to restaurants, Target & Wal-Mart, and activities around the Greeley area such as movie theaters, bowling, etc. Contact Kodie at Kodie@lifestoriesweld.org or 970-353-5970 to donate or for more information.
If you shop at King Soopers or other Kroger brand stores, you can help just by choosing Life Stories as your organization with the King Soopers Community Rewards program. Life Stories will receive money back each time you use your Loyalty Card. The amount Life Stories receives depends on the number of participants and the amount they spend.
