As concern heightens about the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to share with you how Life Stories, our CASA Program and the Child Advocacy Center are responding to the current crisis.
Our work with children and families in crisis at Life Stories will continue, with certain precautions, during this uncertain situation with COVID-19. We are currently adjusting our day-to-day operations in order to keep our core programs functioning at a reduced level and respond strongly to the slowing of the COVID-19. With a commitment to the safety and well-being of our staff, children, parents, volunteers and team members, our physical offices will be closed except for scheduled and confirmed appointments until Wednesday April 1st. Our staff will be working remotely and on a limited schedule. If you have any concerns about an upcoming appointment or forensic interview, please reach out so we can answer any questions you may have. You may reach out to a staff person through their email or our agency email at contact@lifestoriesweld.org. Our phone will be forwarded to a staff person and we will be responding to voice mail. 970-353-5970
In the past 2 weeks we have instituted precautions including ongoing sanitizing of surfaces, frequent hand washing, and minimizing group activities. We will continue to monitor information from the WCDPHE and WHO and other sources, follow health protocols, and adjust our plans accordingly. We take the safety of our community extremely seriously.
Thanks to the continued support of our generous community, we are able to remain committed to doing our part as an organization serving children and families in need during this time. This has always been a top priority and is especially critical at this time.
If you have any specific questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
