How long have you been on the Life Stories Board?
8.5 Years
What initially drew you to Life Stories Child & Family Advocacy, and why did you decide to join the board?
I had experience with Life Stories due to my position as a police officer. Over my career, I built relationships with the CAC staff. These relationships led me to join the board. I have had the honor of watching Life Stories grow, purchase and move into a new building, and expand our fundraising efforts. 8.5 years ago, I was looking for a way to give back to the community and Life Stories checked every box.
What role do you believe Life Stories plays in our community, and why is that important to you?
Life Stories is a pillar of Weld County. Providing child advocacy and CASA services is a necessity that our community has come to rely on.
“Every dollar raised at Life Stories is thoughtfully and strategically planned on where it goes, to serve those voices who cannot speak.”
If you are interested in supporting the work we do, please consider scheduling a donation this Colorado Gives Day.
