How long have you been on the Life Stories Board?
2.5 Years
What initially drew you to Life Stories Child & Family Advocacy, and why did you decide to join the board?
As a Department of Human Services child welfare employee, our missions are related. I joined to provide the DHS perspective and give back to my community.
What role do you believe Life Stories plays in our community, and why is that important to you?
Doing what we can to advocate for our most vulnerable population. That is important because of the possible long term impact so children not having their voices heard.
“Supporting Life Stories is truly and investment in children, families, and by extension our own community. Nothing is more important!”
