The Island Grove Event Center will come alive with an elegant western flare on Friday evening, March 28. The evening will kick off with music provided by Weld County’s own Caitlyn Ochsner and dancing led by Country Kickup. There will be a silent auction and live auction in addition to an opportunity to win 1 of 6 western hats generously donated by Greeley Hat Works. A delicious buffet catered by Gourmet Grub will set the stage for a program dedicated to creating an awareness of the need to safeguard vulnerable children in our community.
Life Stories, formerly known as A Kid’s Place, has existed in Weld County for over 25 years. Life Stories continues to provide advocacy and support for abused and neglected children by advancing coordinated investigations, prosecution and victim services. We believe that every child should live a life free of abuse in a safe, permanent home.
Life Stories plays a crucial role in helping vulnerable children by giving them an opportunity to tell their stories and more importantly to be heard. We listen and we advocate on behalf of the children so that they will have a better tomorrow.
Life Stories dedication to supporting children who have faced abuse and neglect is invaluable, and events like Wrangling Hope are key in raising the resources needed to continue.
Please join us as we create awareness of the crucial need for funding to continue to support the Child Advocacy Center and the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer programs.
Wrangling Hope – a Gala for the Voiceless is your opportunity to get involved and to provide support for children in Weld County who need you. Your attendance contributes to the continuation of the programs that will help Life Stories give children in Weld County a better tomorrow.
